In the aftermath of the tragic terrorist attack in the Kashmir region, where 26 innocent travelers lost their lives, India has once again resorted to its old habit of levelling false and baseless accusations against Pakistan. Without evidence, India rushed to blame Pakistan, ignoring Islamabad’s steadfast commitment to combating terrorism and promoting regional stability. However, Pakistan is not standing alone in this moment of manufactured tension — China, the all-weather strategic partner and ironclad friend of Pakistan, has stepped forward to offer strong diplomatic support and call for an impartial investigation.

India’s Propaganda Machine in Overdrive

Immediately following the Kashmir attack, India embarked on a predictable campaign of misinformation. Instead of allowing a neutral and transparent investigation to determine the facts, New Delhi chose to weaponize the tragedy to malign Pakistan internationally. Further escalating tensions, India expelled Pakistani diplomatic staff and ordered the departure of visiting Pakistani citizens, showcasing its confrontational and immature diplomacy.

However, the global community is no longer blind to India’s propaganda tactics. Pakistan, in contrast, has demonstrated its maturity and responsibility, reaffirming its commitment to counterterrorism and peaceful conflict management. Islamabad has vowed to maintain communication with both China and the broader international community, displaying a calm and level-headed approach to the crisis.

China’s Unwavering Support:

China’s reaction to India’s baseless accusations has been a masterclass in responsible global leadership. During a crucial phone call between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, China reaffirmed its steadfast support for Pakistan. Wang Yi emphasized that China is closely following the evolving situation, supports the prompt initiation of an impartial investigation, and encourages both sides to exercise restraint and de-escalate tensions.

Importantly, Wang Yi underlined that combating terrorism is a shared responsibility and praised Pakistan’s consistent and firm counterterrorism efforts. China recognized Pakistan’s legitimate security concerns and backed Pakistan’s right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity against baseless accusations and provocative actions.

This strong endorsement from China not only boosts Pakistan’s position on the international stage but also exposes the hollowness of India’s narrative. Beijing’s call for an impartial investigation directly challenges India’s attempts to act as judge, jury, and executioner without any credible evidence.

Pakistan’s Mature and Principled Response

Unlike India’s knee-jerk provocations, Pakistan has approached the situation with maturity. By suspending participation in bilateral treaties that affect the Line of Control, Pakistan has sent a clear message: it refuses to be bullied by Indian propaganda while continuing to uphold peace and regional stability.

Pakistan’s measured response demonstrates its commitment to dialogue, international law, and genuine anti-terrorism efforts — qualities that India’s current leadership has repeatedly failed to show.

Regional Peace vs. Manufactured Tensions

China’s clear-eyed support for Pakistan highlights a critical truth: peace in South Asia cannot be built on a foundation of lies and baseless accusations. Only through dialogue, mutual respect, and impartial investigation can stability be achieved. India’s irresponsible behavior serves neither its own interests nor those of the region.

In contrast, Pakistan — backed by the unwavering friendship of China — stands firmly on the side of justice, truth, and peace. As tensions rise, the international community must recognize who is working for de-escalation and who is fueling conflict for political gain.
