Pakistan has strongly condemned what it calls “unprovoked and unlawful” Indian strikes on civilian areas, including Muzaffarabad, vowing a “befitting response” to any further aggression. Tensions flared after reports emerged that Indian forces targeted unarmed civilians, places of worship, and critical infrastructure under the pretext of counter-terror operations. The attacks, which Pakistan claims are a clear violation of international law, left several civilians martyred and wounded.
