Monumental bronze sculptures of monkeys fixated on smartphones have popped up across five public spaces in Rio, stopping pedestrians in their tracks. The urban intervention, titled “Digital Primate” (Primórdios Digitais), is the work of acclaimed Brazilian artist Beto Gatti.
