In a powerful display of strength and resolve, Pakistan’s armed forces have delivered a decisive blow to India’s unprovoked military aggression, shooting down five Indian Air Force (IAF) jets, including three French-made Rafales, one Su30MKI, and one MIG-29 Fulcrum, alongside a combat drone. This resolute response also saw the destruction of an Indian brigade headquarters and multiple checkposts along the Line of Control (LoC), showcasing Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty.

Pakistan’s Armed Forces: A Beacon of Strength

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF), under the leadership of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director-General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed that all PAF jets remain operational and unscathed after engaging Indian forces. This remarkable feat underscores the skill, precision, and preparedness of Pakistan’s military, which has gained the upper hand in this conflict. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif emphasized that Pakistan’s retaliatory actions were executed with unparalleled strength, defending the nation’s territorial integrity against India’s reckless provocations.

Pakistan’s military has also destroyed multiple enemy posts across several sectors along the LoC, engaging Indian troops in an ongoing exchange of fire. This robust defense serves as a clear message: Pakistan will not tolerate violations of its sovereignty.

India’s Cowardly Aggression: A Violation of International Law

India’s unprovoked missile strikes on civilian areas in Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), launched from within Indian airspace using stand-off weapons, have resulted in the tragic martyrdom of 26 innocent Pakistani civilians, including women and children, with 46 others injured. The Foreign Office condemned these strikes as a “flagrant violation of the UN Charter, international law, and established norms of inter-state relations.” This act of aggression not only threatens regional peace but also endangers commercial air traffic, highlighting India’s reckless disregard for global stability.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif labeled India’s actions a “heinous act of aggression,” vowing that Pakistan’s response will be decisive and unyielding. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar echoed this sentiment, describing India’s air strikes as an “unprovoked and blatant act of aggression” targeting civilian populations. Pakistan has formally raised these concerns with the United Nations Security Council, reserving the right to respond further under Article 51 of the UN Charter.

International Condemnation of India’s Actions

The international community has expressed grave concern over India’s belligerent actions. US President Donald Trump called the rising tensions a “shame,” noting the long history of conflict between the two nations. China voiced regret over India’s military operation, while United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres urged both sides to exercise maximum restraint. These statements reflect global apprehension about India’s destabilizing actions and the potential for a broader conflict between two nuclear-armed neighbors.

India’s False Narrative and Regional Instability

India’s justification for its attacks—linking Pakistan to the killing of tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir—lacks any credible evidence and has been vehemently denied by Islamabad. Pakistan has offered to participate in a transparent investigation to uncover the truth, but India continues to peddle a false narrative of victimhood to justify its aggression. The Foreign Office warned that India’s actions have pushed the region closer to a major conflict, endangering peace and security in South Asia.

In response to the Pahalgam attack, India has taken punitive measures, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty and closing the Wagah-Attari border crossing. Pakistan, in turn, has expelled Indian diplomats and closed its side of the border, signaling its firm stance against India’s provocations.

Pakistan Stands United

The government, armed forces, and people of Pakistan stand united in the face of India’s aggression. Prime Minister Sharif affirmed that the nation’s morale remains unshaken, with the entire country rallying behind its brave soldiers. The Pakistan Airports Authority has restored airspace for Lahore and Karachi, ensuring the resilience of critical infrastructure despite India’s attempts to disrupt civilian life.

Pakistan’s Unbreakable Resolve

Pakistan’s swift and precise retaliation against India’s unprovoked aggression sends a clear message to the world: the nation will defend its sovereignty at all costs. With the international community calling for de-escalation and India’s actions drawing widespread condemnation, Pakistan remains a beacon of resilience and unity. The government and armed forces, backed by the unwavering support of the Pakistani people, will continue to protect the nation’s territorial integrity with iron resolve.
