Japanese Athlete Breaks World Record Running 100m on All Fours

Ryusei Yonee from Yonago, Japan, has broken the Guinness World Record for the fastest 100 meters on all fours! At just 22 years old, Yonee sprinted the distance in 14.55 seconds, beating the previous U.S. record of 15.66 set in 2022. His unique quadrupedal running style, inspired by animals like cheetahs and dogs, wowed spectators and Guinness officials. Cheered on by family, locals, and friends, Yonee achieved this feat on his third attempt, after nearly a decade of training and dedication.
