The future stars of Pakistan and Bangladesh women’s cricket lock horns in a blockbuster five-match T20 series starting Wednesday 3 December 2025 – a crucial stepping stone on the road to the ICC Women’s U19 World Cup 2027, co-hosted by Nepal and Bangladesh.
Led by dynamic all-rounder Eman Naseer, Pakistan’s young Green Shirts have landed in Bangladesh with one clear mission: fine-tune their skills, test new talent, and lay down an early marker ahead of the global showpiece.
Five Players Set for Pakistan U19 Debut
A new era begins for Pakistan as captain Eman Naseer, wicket-keeper batter Raahima Syed, pacer Aqsa Habib, top-order batter Ayesha Riaz, and all-rounder Barirah Saif all receive their first U19 caps in this series.
Speaking exclusively ahead of the opener, captain Eman Naseer oozed confidence: “Our squad is perfectly balanced – we have variety in both pace and spin departments. The batters have been timing the ball beautifully in the nets, and the energy in the camp is electric. I love leading from the front, and with the support of the management and my teammates, I’m ready to take this challenge head-on at the international level.”
Road to the Series: Intense Prep in Karachi
The Pakistan squad underwent a rigorous two-week training camp at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi before flying out. After arriving in Cox’s Bazar in the early hours of Sunday, the team has already completed two full practice sessions at the series venue.
