China and Pakistan have concluded the “Warrior-9” joint counterterrorism exercise at Pakistan’s National Counter Terrorism Centre in Pabbi. Spanning over 10 days, the drill brought together troops from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and the Pakistan Army in high-intensity, mixed-unit operations. The exercise featured mountain clearing, hostage rescue, joint fire strikes, and a large-scale live-fire finale integrating land and air forces. Advanced unmanned systems—including UAVs, drone swarms, and bomb-disposal robots—were deployed to simulate modern counterterrorism scenarios. Beyond combat training, Warrior-9 emphasized coordination, experience sharing, and military cooperation, further strengthening China-Pakistan defense ties.
