Storms Flood Displacement Camps in Gaza’s Khan Younis

Displaced families living in tents along the beach in Khan Younis, Gaza, have been hit by severe storms, with seawater flooding their makeshift shelters. Footage shows waterlogged tents, residents digging drainage channels, and families struggling to salvage what little they have left. Displaced parents described carrying children to safety as tents collapsed under rising water. Aid agencies warn that flimsy shelters offer little protection against harsh winter conditions. According to local reports, heavy rain and strong winds have killed at least 17 people, including four children, further deepening Gaza’s humanitarian crisis.
