The Pakistan women’s cricket team has officially announced a strong 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe Women, set to be played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from 12 to 15 May. Led by captain Fatima Sana, the hosts will aim to continue their dominant form after securing an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the ongoing ODI series.

Pakistan Women Eye T20I Success Against Zimbabwe

Pakistan Women have displayed impressive performances throughout the ODI leg of the tour and will now shift focus to the shortest format of the game. The final ODI of the series is scheduled to take place later today at the National Bank Stadium before the teams move into the T20I fixtures.

With confidence high in the camp, the Pakistan Cricket Board selectors have retained a balanced squad featuring experienced campaigners and promising young talent.

Fatima Sana to Continue as Captain

Dynamic all-rounder Fatima Sana will continue leading the side in the T20I series. Her leadership and all-round abilities have become vital for Pakistan Women as they prepare for future international assignments.

All three T20I matches are scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM local time in Karachi, providing fans with exciting evening cricket action.

Uncapped Players Amber Kainat and Saira Jabeen Earn Call-Ups

The selection committee has included two uncapped players in the squad — Amber Kainat and Saira Jabeen.

Right-arm pacer Amber Kainat impressed selectors with her outstanding performances in the recently concluded National Women’s T20 Tournament, where she claimed 11 wickets in eight matches while representing Invincibles.

Meanwhile, Saira Jabeen, who was previously part of Pakistan’s T20I squad during the South Africa tour, has once again been rewarded for her consistent performances and development.
