Scheduled to take place from 23 July to 2 August 2026, the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will welcome around 3,000 athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories competing across 10 sports, including six Para sports. The Games continue to promote excellence in sport while fostering friendship, diversity, and international cooperation.

Speaking at the event, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott CMG OBE emphasized that the Commonwealth Games are about much more than athletic competition.

- Farah Gul Rahuja, Co-Founder of PakGPT, recognized for using inclusive artificial intelligence to improve education, healthcare, and climate resilience in underserved communities.
- Hassan Ashraf, Founder and CEO of Umeed Foundation, honoured for expanding free education opportunities for child labourers and disadvantaged children across Pakistan.
- Hadiqa Bashir, Founder and Executive Director of Girls United for Human Rights, acknowledged for her work combating child marriage, addressing gender-based violence, and promoting girls’ education.
- Joshua Dilawar, Founder and Executive Director of ISYD, recognized for advancing youth inclusion, health equity, and gender equality while empowering deaf youth through peer education programmes.
