Hundreds of visitors flocked to the northern foothills of Mount Fuji on Thursday to witness the breathtaking beauty of the annual Fuji Shibazakura Festival, now in its 18th year. Hosted at the scenic Fuji Motosuko Resort, the festival is one of Japan’s most beloved spring events, famed for its vast carpets of blooming pink moss known as shibazakura.
